Practitioners advisory board

The MCL Practitioners Advisory Board (PAB) was established to perform two principal functions, both of which contribute substantially to the MCL course. First, PAB members provide advice on the general direction of the course so as to ensure that the MCL has a strong practical dimension that students will value. Second, PAB members, in cooperation with members of their firm, are involved in the teaching of the Deals course, primarily with respect to providing insights on the role lawyers play in relation to corporate transactions. Not all members of the Board participate in the teaching of the Deals course in a particular academic year but most have been involved recently or will be in the near future.

The Law Faculty traditionally holds a reception each year that provides the MCL cohort with an opportunity to meet the members of the MCL Practitioners Advisory Board.

Each of the PAB members is a distinguished practitioner with considerable corporate law expertise.
