Travers Smith MCL Bursary

The Law Faculty is pleased to announce that due to generous support from the law firm Travers Smith, a bursary worth £6,000 will be awarded to an MCL student in the forthcoming admissions round and in the admissions rounds for 2025-26 and 2026-27.

The Travers Smith Bursary will be awarded by the MCL Admissions Committee to an MCL student with an outstanding past academic record who is not the recipient of any other bursary, scholarship or studentship.

In awarding the bursary preference will be given to candidates who have indicated, at the time of their application to the MCL course, that they are not able to meet the full funding requirements of the course from private sources.

All applicants who are offered a place on the MCL are eligible to be considered for the Travers Smith bursary.  There is no need to apply.

Travers Smith is a leading London-based law firm and is one of the oldest in the City of London, having been founded in 1810.
