What were you doing before the MCL?

I joined the MCL after completing an LLB in international and European Law in The Netherlands. Throughout my undergraduate studies and following their completion, I acquired about a year of full-time internship experience in domestic and international law firms based in Warsaw, Poland.

What were your impressions of the MCL?

What I appreciated most about the MCL was its interdisciplinary nature. As a young professional with limited experience in the legal field, I was eager to gain a multi-dimensional view of different areas of corporate law and understand how they interact with one another. The Deals course at the heart of the programme was great in this respect. Throughout this course, I learned to assimilate theoretical knowledge gained through MCL and LLM modules and applied it in a practice-driven way. This was by far the most unique aspect of the MCL.

What are your post-MCL plans and have they changed due to taking the MCL?

This September - after graduating from the MCL - I will commence the PGDL, followed by SQE examinations next year. I will subsequently join Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a Trainee Solicitor in their London office in 2024.
