What were you doing before the MCL?
After high school, I extensively travelled through different continents, including Australia and South America. Afterwards, I completed an LLB in International and European Law in The Hague. I gained over a year of practical experience at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Düsseldorf before joining the MCL.
What were your impressions of the MCL?
The MCL was an intellectually stimulating experience. I greatly valued the MCL’s emphasis on practical application. The classes' manageable size allowed the teachers to conduct interactive lessons and interact with each student individually. Furthermore, the cohort's wide range of backgrounds and levels of experience made for an engaging class dynamic and created strong friendships that I will cherish.
What are your post-MCL plans and have they changed due to taking the MCL?
I intend to qualify as a lawyer as soon as possible and work as a competition associate in an international law firm.
