Harvard Law Professor Howell Jackson’s Reflections on the MCL

Howell Jackson, the James S. Reid, Jr., Professor of Law at Harvard Law School and the Law Faculty’s Arthur Goodhart Professor of Legal Science in Michaelmas Term 2012, was prominently involved in the MCL’s inaugural academic year. He taught a module on International Financial Regulation which was very popular with MCL students. Professor Jackson said of the MCL:

"I was delighted to participate in the inaugural year of the MCL. The Cambridge Law Faculty put together a tremendously innovative and intimate program of study with an admirable combination of law, finance and practice. I was particularly impressed by the excellent quality of students who participate in the MCL's first year. I have no doubt they will benefit greatly from the intensive program of study that the University has devised and will be followed by many cohorts of similarly talented candidates who will be attracted to the MCL in the years ahead."
