Travers Smith MCL Bursary awarded to Anthony Magagnin

The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that the 2020-21 MCL Travers Smith Bursary has been awarded to Anthony Magagnin.

Mr. Magagnin has come to Cambridge after having taken a double degree of English and French law at the University of Essex and Université de Lyon 3, with his French legal education focusing primarily on business law. His Travers Smith Bursary is worth £6,000 and, assuming suitable arrangements can be made, he will spend two weeks working with Travers Smith's London office on a programme of tailored work experience following completion of his MCL studies.

The MCL Travers Smith Bursary will be available again for the 2021-22 MCL applications round. The bursary will be awarded to an MCL student with an outstanding past academic record who is not the recipient of any other bursary, scholarship or studentship. In awarding the bursary preference will be given to candidates who have indicated, at the time of their application to the MCL course, that they are not able to meet the full funding requirements of the course from private sources. For more information see the MCL's Financial Matters page.
