What were you doing before the MCL?

Prior to joining the MCL, I had finished my Bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Tehran and also had taken up an internship with a leading corporate law firm.

What were your impressions of the MCL?

Studying at Cambridge was an invaluable, intellectually rigorous, and culturally vibrant experience for me. The MCL provided me with a great opportunity to enhance my knowledge of legal and economic issues relating to corporate law and to develop my critical thinking skills.

The structure of the course is well designed to spread the workload fairly throughout the academic year. Moreover, the small size of classes allows fruitful interactions and discussions between students and lecturers. My favorite modules were Comparative Corporate Governance, International Merger Control, and Corporate Tax Law. In each outstanding experts offered detailed and technical understanding of the subjects.

What are your post-MCL plans and have they changed due to taking the MCL?

Following the MCL graduation, I am going to do a Ph.D. and am currently considering different offers that I have received. I am confident that the knowledge and skills that I have acquired at Cambridge will help me a lot with my future research.
